the service

norle is an ai chat widget for shopify stores. it answers customer questions using the store's own catalog, orders and policies. it is fully autonomous: there is no human agent behind it, by design.

billing

norle costs $19/month, flat, billed through shopify. there is a 30-day free trial. you can cancel any time from your shopify admin, in one click, and billing stops at the end of the cycle.

acceptable use

do not use norle to break shopify's terms, to mislead your customers, or for anything unlawful.

availability

norle aims to be available around the clock. while it is a young product it is offered as is, without an uptime guarantee.

changes

if these terms change, the change is posted here. material changes are emailed to active stores first.

fair use

norle is priced flat, on purpose. that only works if usage stays in the normal range for the stores it is built for.

norle is built for small and medium-sized shopify stores answering their own customers. it is not built to be a backend for very high-volume operations, to be driven by automated or scripted traffic unrelated to real shoppers, or to be wrapped and resold as someone else's service.

if a store's usage is automated, abusive, or so far outside normal patterns that it undermines flat pricing for everyone else, we may, at our discretion, contact you first, ask you to move to a plan that fits, limit the service, or, as a last resort, suspend or end it. for an ordinary store answering ordinary customers, you will never reach this. it exists so one outlier cannot ruin a simple price for everyone.
